What counts as a departure?
One tour at a given date and time, whatever the number of guests or bookings on it. Helm counts them automatically from your synced bookings, so there's nothing to declare.
What happens after my 20 free departures?
We'll let you know as you get close. From your 21st departure, we ask for a card and each extra departure costs €1, never more than Starter's €79. Without a card, new departures still sync but can't be staffed from Helm until next month. Everything already scheduled stays as it is.
Why do you charge per departure and not per guide?
A departure is the work Helm does for you: one tour to staff with one guide. Charging per guide would push you to leave people off the app. Charging on revenue would be one more commission on top of the ones you already pay.
How does annual billing work?
Pay for the year and get one month free. The annual price covers your plan; any extra departures are billed monthly. If your volume swings a lot with the seasons, monthly billing on Starter is often the better deal.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can move up at any time and only pay the difference for the rest of the period. Moving down on an annual plan takes effect at renewal.
Which booking software can I connect on the Free plan?
All of them, on every plan: Bókun, WooCommerce, and any platform that sends booking confirmation emails.
