Delete your account

Last updated: September 16, 2026

Overview

This page explains how to delete your account in Helm, the app for tour guides and tour agencies published by Helm SAS, and what happens to your data when you do.

Deleting your account is permanent. You will be signed out on every device and cannot sign back in to the deleted account. You can create a new account later with the same email address.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Helm app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Delete your account on the web

  1. Sign in at helm.tours.
  2. Open Settings → Profile.
  3. In Danger Zone, click Delete account, then confirm.

Either way, your account is deleted immediately. Before you do, tell the agencies you work with: Helm does not notify them for you.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot use the app, email contact@helm.tours from the email address on your Helm account, with the subject Delete my account. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account within 30 days of confirming it.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
  • Your password, your sign-in sessions and any Google account you linked. Helm's access to your Google Calendar is revoked.
  • Your languages, preferences, connected calendars, and the busy times and absences you added.
  • Your connections to agencies. You no longer appear in any agency's guide list.
  • Your upcoming tour assignments, which are released so the agency can staff them with someone else.

What is kept

Agencies keep their own business records of work that already happened: past tours you were assigned to, and tickets, comments, notes and messages you added to them. These records stay with the agency but are no longer linked to your name, email or phone number. They show as Deleted account.

We keep them for as long as the agency needs them and for the legal retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
